Shawn Morse (DBA Pacific Translations) is an experienced, professional Japanese-to-English technical translator specializing in the fields of IT, automotive, electronics, finance, business, and certified translations.
Shawn has a double B.A. in Japanese and Japan Studies from the University of Washington (Seattle), lived and worked in Japan for ten years, and professionally translated for over 20 years. He is an Active Member of the American Translators Association and the Northwest Translators and Interpreters Society.

- Certified translator. Provides certified and notarized translations of family registries (戸籍謄本) and automotive export certificates (輸出予定届出証明書) for importing cars from Japan to your country.
- Strong technical editing, writing, machine translation post-editing (MTPE), and information research skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work quickly under pressure and schedule work efficiently.
